Prof. Shelly Kagan: Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences

Prof. Shelly Kagan has been named a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences for 2016. This is a very high honor, which is richly deserved.  The American Academy is one of the oldest and most prestigious academic honorary societies in the U.S., having been established in 1780 by John Adams, James Monroe, and James Bowdoin.  Seven Yale faculty members have been elected as fellows of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences the class of 2016.
