Professor Verity Harte wins a 2015 Graduate Mentor Award

May 6, 2015

Message from Dean Cooley:

The Graduate Mentor Award recognizes faculty members who have been exceptional in their support of the professional, scholarly and personal development of their students.

Each year, the selection committee receives scores of letters from graduate students nominating outstanding mentors all over campus. At this time, we thank everyone for nominating over fifty faculty members in recognition of their dedication as mentors.

It is a great pleasure to announce and congratulate the 2015 recipients of the Graduate School’s Graduate Mentor Award:

Social Sciences: Naomi Lamoreaux
Humanities: Verity Harte
Sciences: Hal Blumenfeld

On Sunday, May 17th, the Graduate Mentor Award recipients will be honored at the Graduate School’s Convocation Ceremony.  In the meantime, please join me in congratulating Naomi, Verity and Hal.

With best wishes,

Lynn Cooley, Ph.D.
Dean, Yale University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences
C.N.H. Long Professor of Genetics
Professor of Cell Biology and MCDB
