Arthur graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy and Classics from Stanford University and is pursuing the philosophy Ph.D. in conjunction with a J.D. from Yale Law School. In philosophy, Arthur has specialized in the philosophy of action, with a particular focus on the interaction of practical and epistemic rationality and on self-governance. His other main interests include legal and political philosophy and the philosophy of Aristotle. In law, Arthur is interested in property and contract theory, constitutional theory, and international and comparative law, especially comparative constitutional law.
