Title: Perspectival Flexibility

Abstract:

This paper defends the claim that there is a distinctive virtue of
perspectival flexibility. An agent who has that virtue is able to shift
between multiple apt perspectives on a given subject matter.
Perspectival flexibility is an intellectual virtue. It differs from
other intellectual virtues, such as open- mindedness and intellectual
humility. It is also a moral virtue.
