Dylan Shaul is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Philosophy Department at Yale University.

He specializes in 19th Century Philosophy (esp. German Idealism) and Jewish Philosophy. His current project, Hegel and Judaism: God, the Law, Exile, and Redemption, examines Hegel’s controversial reading of the Jewish religious and philosophical tradition, as well as the reception of Hegel’s own philosophical system by later 19th and 20th century Jewish thinkers.

Dylan completed his PhD in Philosophy at the University of Toronto in 2023. He previously completed his MA in Philosophy at The New School for Social Research and MSc in Social Anthropology at the University of Oxford.
