Max DuBoff

Max joined the department as part of the combined Classics and Philosophy program in 2019, after completing a BA in Philosophy and Classics at Rutgers University. Max’s dissertation focuses on philosophy of death and the goodness of life in Plato and Hellenistic philosophy. Their further interests in ancient philosophy include therapeutic philosophy, deliberation, and protreptic. Max’s non-historical philosophical interests include reproductive ethics, philosophy of death, and bioethics. Outside of philosophy, Max enjoys board games and singing.
