Klint joined the department in 2024 after completing a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science at Swarthmore College. He is interested in philosophical topics like causation, social structure & agency, social ontology, justice, and human rights. He is pursuing these topics in dialogue with historical figures (esp. Spinoza, Hegel, German Idealists, and classical sociologists), as well as contemporary debates. He also has strong interests in the history of 17th-19th European philosophy, the Frankfurt School, the post-war French philosophy, and political economy. Outside philosophy, he enjoys 19th-century British & Russian literature and European football.
